About the position

Quantum is expanding the team and has brilliant opportunities for a professional sales manager to sell Data Science & Data Engineering Solutions. Technology curiosity and ecological thinking are called.

Required skills, qualifications, desired trait:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical knowledge in data science/engineering is a plus
  • Passionate about technology and innovation
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Adaptive and resourceful, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term partnerships
  • People with existing client networks are preferable
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in IT or tech consulting, with a focus on startups
  • Proven success in closing deals valued between $50,000 and $500,000
  • Strong understanding of data science, data engineering, and their applications in the modern IT ecosystem
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and business-focused manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • English not less than B2 level
  • Skilled in building trust and engaging with startup founders and C-level executivesSkilled in building trust and engaging with startup founders and C-level executives
  • Ability to assess the specific needs of startups and propose innovative, value-driven solutions
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales data analysis
  • Strong negotiation abilities to secure competitive, high-value contracts
  • Expertise in managing client expectations and resolving objections effectively

  • Identify and engage with US-based technological startups seeking data science and data engineering solutions
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs and product leads
  • Understand the unique challenges of startups and articulate how Quantum’s expertise can drive their growth and innovation
  • Craft and deliver tailored proposals for accounts ranging from $50,000 to $500,000
  • Stay informed about trends in data science, data engineering, and the broader AI landscape
  • Provide insights into the specific needs and priorities of startup ecosystems
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Partner with Quantum’s technical team to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs
  • Work closely with marketing to refine outreach and lead-generation strategies for startup clients
  • Reports to CEO
